What we do
Siemek Reviews is the recommendations-and-reviews side of Siemek Digital Products. Where the main Siemek Digital Products site sells our own products, this section reviews and recommends products made by other companies. Both sides operate to the same standard: tell the truth, disclose conflicts, treat readers like adults.
Every review on this site covers a product the lead reviewer has personally used, tested, or thoroughly researched. We don't accept paid placements. We don't rank products by commission rate. We don't write fake reviews to boost low-quality products.
Who we are

Vincent is the lead reviewer and author of Siemek Reviews. He spent two decades in federal investigations, where the daily work involved separating what's claimed from what's true. After leaving federal work, he wrote the Digital Defense Library — a six-volume field guide on personal cybersecurity and family protection. Siemek Reviews is the natural extension of that work.
How we make money
Honest answer: through affiliate commissions when readers purchase products we recommend. We disclose this on every page, in every email, in every social post. We don't hide it because we don't need to — the system works fine if everyone is honest about it.
What we won't do:
- Recommend products we wouldn't use ourselves
- Rank products by which one pays us more
- Accept paid placement, sponsored content, or pay-to-review arrangements
- Bury bad findings to keep an affiliate relationship
- Use fake scarcity, fake reviews, or fake urgency
If we ever find ourselves drifting from these standards, we expect readers to call us on it.

Editorial standards
Every review on this site follows the same process:
- Research first. We start with the underlying science, the manufacturer's claims, and any independent research available.
- Use the product. Where applicable, the reviewer uses the product personally for a meaningful period.
- Compare alternatives. We consider what else exists in the category and why a reader might choose differently.
- Write honestly. Including limitations, who the product isn't for, and where the marketing oversells.
- Disclose openly. Affiliate relationships, sponsorships (if any), and any prior connection to the product.
- Update when products change. Reviews aren't static. When a product changes meaningfully, the review changes too.
